- I'm on a journey to 50 years old in 3 1/2 years and I have decided that part of that journey is to finally loc my hair and I have chosen the sisterlocks method of locking due to the versatility that it offers. I also realize that I need to talk my way through the journey and share my experience as the other sisters who blog have been such and inspiration to me. I hope and pray that I will be an inspiration to someone else.

hi! I live in Memphis. I am getting my hair washed tomorrow too! We are locked buddies! I need to add my updates too. Your Hair is coming along great. My scalp has been itching like crazy though. I can't wait until she tells me what to put on it!
My scalp is itchy as well. I have been using rosewater and it helps a little. Do you plan to use the SL shampoo. I have read mixed revues about it. I want to order the "knotty boy bar" that everyone is blogging about. I am so tempted to start rolling and styling but I am going to try and hold off.
