- I'm on a journey to 50 years old in 3 1/2 years and I have decided that part of that journey is to finally loc my hair and I have chosen the sisterlocks method of locking due to the versatility that it offers. I also realize that I need to talk my way through the journey and share my experience as the other sisters who blog have been such and inspiration to me. I hope and pray that I will be an inspiration to someone else.

CONGRATS ON OUR 1 MONTH ANNIVERSARY! I love your hair color and now I want to try the braid out. I haven't done anything with my hair yet. Where do you get rose water? When is your next retightening? Mine is scheduled for February 7th! Going to post more pics soon!

Thanx for the shout. I purchased the rosewater from a healthfood and book store here in my area. You may want to try some place like that or Trader Joes, Whole Foods type place. My 1st retightening is on Jan 27. I am going at 6 wks instead of 4. Not sure what color my hair is honestly. She just mixes the stuff up. Some kind of brown. Look forward to your pics
