This is another great shot. Your hair actually looks a lot like the weave I used when I had micros installed. Not sure if that's what you want to hear when your trying to lock (hehe) but I'm liking the waves.
You are right, it kinda looks like that interlocking hair. Oh well, it is what it is. Whatever works right? I just wonder how long it will last. I sweat in my head when I am asleep. I could never keep a style when it was permed. Had to start all over every day with that darned curling iron sizzling in my hair. I'm hoping it will be different with locs.
Wendi, this is so YOU! It looks perfect to me. Hey, if you can get the look that so many women pay good money to get WITHOUT the fake hair then YOU WIN! It's like a man having wavy hair without the conk! I love it. ~gina
I'm on a journey to 50 years old in 3 1/2 years and I have decided that part of that journey is to finally loc my hair and I have chosen the sisterlocks method of locking due to the versatility that it offers. I also realize that I need to talk my way through the journey and share my experience as the other sisters who blog have been such and inspiration to me. I hope and pray that I will be an inspiration to someone else.
