I'm still amazed at how different each head of locks can be. Afro-textured hair is so beautiful and versatile, I hope more and more of our people will begin to see the beauty of the crown that God gave us and stop chemically altering it with barely a thought. I know that going natural isn't for everyone but I think that more people will as it becomes more acceptable.
Also, I think Daena may be my hair twin. The texture of her locks seem to be very close to what I'm seeing in my own hair... right down to the ends that are not even close to sealing and have spirals instead.
Daena is going to love hearing that. It's always nice when someone can relate to your experience. I just know she would never blog... shame on her right??
Thanks Southerngirl....It's nice to know I have a TWIN!!!! And yes, I will probably never blog because my SL BFF and her DH do it for me!!!! Love u, Wen!! Daena
I'm on a journey to 50 years old in 3 1/2 years and I have decided that part of that journey is to finally loc my hair and I have chosen the sisterlocks method of locking due to the versatility that it offers. I also realize that I need to talk my way through the journey and share my experience as the other sisters who blog have been such and inspiration to me. I hope and pray that I will be an inspiration to someone else.
